Question 172722: Here is another one I think I have but need confirmation:
Multiply (x + 1/3)^2
Initially, I said: x^2 + 1/9 but that seemed too "simple". So now I am thinking it is: x^2 - 2/3x + 1/9. I am just not sure though so any help provided would be appreciated and PLEASE show me why I am incorrect if I am. Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Multiply (x + 1/3)^2
Initially, I said: x^2 + 1/9 but that seemed too "simple". So now I am thinking it is: x^2 - 2/3x + 1/9.
------------------------------
x^2-2(1/3)x + (1/3)^2 = x^2 -(2/3)x + (1/9) is correct.
