Question 171714This question is from textbook
: I need someone to double check my work.
Two dice are rolled. Find the probability that the score on the dice is either 7 or 9?
Possibilities for 7 are (4,3)(5,2)(6,1) which = 3/36 = 1/12 = 0.083333 (8%)
Possibilities for 9 are (6,3)(4,5)which = 2/36 = 1/18 = 0.055555 = (6%)
Did I work these problems right?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I need someone to double check my work.

-------------------
You missed a few possibilities:
For seven you could get: (1,6),(2,5),(3,4),(4,3),(5,2),(6,1) or 6/36 = 1/6
----------------------------------------
For nine you could get: (3,6),(4,5),(5,4),(6,3) or 4/36 = 1/9
----------------------------------------
