if your scale is 1/2in=2ft. What you must do first is find out how many 2ft sections you have. You do this by dividing the total feet in question by 2. Then multiply it by the drawing scale 1/2.
:
18/2=9......9(1/2)=9/2
:
12/2=6..... 6(1/2)=3
:
so the length by the width on the scale drawing is 9/2 x 3 inches
