Question 170937: simultaneous equations
3x-5y=1
10y=6x-1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x-5y=1
10y=6x-1
-----------
Rearrange:
6x - 10y = 2
6x - 10y = 1
--------------
Subtract 2nd from 1st to get:
0 = 1
That is a contradiction resulting from assuming that the x's and the y's
are the same in the two equations. They cannot be. The system
is said to be "inconsistent".
