You can put this solution on YOUR website!
For ANY number of the form a%2Fb, the multiplicative inverse is b%2Fa. In other words, to find the find the multiplicative inverse of any fraction, simply flip the fraction.

Note: if you multiply the number a%2Fb by the the multiplicative inverse b%2Fa you will get 1 since

So the multiplicative inverse of 3%2F7 is 7%2F3

The multiplicative inverse of -4%2F11 is -11%2F4

I'll let you do the rest of the problems involving a simple fraction

To find the multiplicative inverse of 6%261%2F3, we need to convert this mixed fraction into an improper fraction.

To do that, multiply the denominator 3 by the whole number 6 to get 18. Now add 18 to the numerator 1 to get 19. So 6%261%2F3=%286%2A3%2B1%29%2F3=%2818%2B1%29%2F3=19%2F3

So the multiplicative inverse of 19%2F3 is 3%2F19

-----------------------------------

Here's another example:

4%261%2F9=%284%2A9%2B1%29%2F9=%2836%2B1%29%2F9=37%2F9

So the multiplicative inverse of 37%2F9 is 9%2F37

I'll let you do the rest of the problems involving a mixed fraction
