l=3s+3.....eq 2

take l's value from eq 2 and plug it into eq 1
:
s+(3s+3)=175
:
4s=172
: small number large number
You can put this solution on YOUR website! x =smaller number
3x+3=larger number
x+3x+3=175
simplify
4x+3=175
Subract 3 from both sides
4x=172
divide both sides by 4
x=43
the larger number is 132
