You can put this solution on YOUR website!
area=pi*r^2
17=3.14*r^2
r^2=17/3.14
r^2=5.41
r=sqrt5.41
r=2.326 m. for the radius.
Circumferance=2*pi*r
C=2*3.14*2.326
C=14.607 m. is the circumferance.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The area of a circle is 17 square meters.
pir^2 = 17
r^2 = 17/pi
r = sqrt(17/pi)
-----------------------
What is its circumference?
2pir = 2pi(sqrt(17/pi)}
circumference = 2sqrt(17pi) = 14.61603...
