Y=mX+b WHERE m=SLOPE & b=Y INTERCEPT.
LET SLOPE=3 & Y INTERCEPT=-5
Y=3X-5 WOULD BE THE EQUATION FOR A LINE WITH SLOPE=3 & Y INTERCEPT=-5.
