You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find f(1) for (x) = 4x^3-3x^2-x+2
---------
f(1) = 4 - 3 - 1 + 2 = 2
----
Note: f(1) is always the sum of the coefficients because all those
powers of "x" are one when x = 1.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f%28x%29=4x%5E3-3x%5E2-x%2B2 Start with the given function.

f%281%29=4%281%29%5E3-3%281%29%5E2-1%2B2 Plug in x=1.

f%281%29=4%281%29-3%281%29%5E2-1%2B2 Cube 1 to get 1.

f%281%29=4%281%29-3%281%29-1%2B2 Square 1 to get 1.

f%281%29=4-3%281%29-1%2B2 Multiply 4 and 1 to get 4.

f%281%29=4-3-1%2B2 Multiply -3 and 1 to get -3.

f%281%29=2 Combine like terms.
