So to find the distance, simply plug in a time value. This means that the time "t" is independent (since the distance does NOT affect the time). However, the distance "d" is dependent since the time value "t" does affect the distance "d"

Since a negative time doesn't make sense, this means that the time values must be positive (or zero). So the domain is
