we have the first term (a)=36
now finding common ratio(r) we have
r=24/36 or 16/24 which gives 2/3
using the formula
S=%28a%2F%281-r%29%29 where a=first term,r=common ratio and S is the sum to infinity
we have S=36/(1-2/3)
=108 Ans
