You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please help me with:
Given that log(a) 16 = 1.7227 and log(a) 3=0.6826 find log(a)48?
all the "a" are subscript.
----------------
The "a" is the base of the logs. As long as the same base is used throughout, it can be ignored.
So, log(16) = 1.7227
and log(3) = 0.6826
48 is 16*3, so the log of the product is the sum of the logs (if they're the same base).
---------------
Add 1.7227
+0.6826
= 2.4053 = log%28a%2C48%29
