100X=262.5-75X
100X+75X=262.5
175X=262.5
X=262.5/175
X=1.5 HOURS FOR THE 100 KMH DRIVE.
3.5-1.5=2 HOURS FOR THE 75 KMH DRIVE.
100*1.5=75*2
150=150 ANS. FOR THE DISTANCE BETWEEN BEDINGTON & PORTSMOUTH.

then
3.5 - x = time it took to return
