You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2/3x^2 - 5x - 2 minus 2x/3x + 1 times 1/x - 2
-------------------------------------------------
= [x^2/(3x^2 -5x -2)] - [2x/(3x+1)]
= [x^2/(3x^2 -6x+x -2)] - [2x/[(3x+1)(x-2)]]
= [x^2/3x(x-2) + (x-2)] - [2x/[(3x+1)(x-2)]]
= [x^2/(x-2)(3x+1)] - [2x/[(3x+1)(x-2)]]
= [x^2 - 2x]/[(3x+1)(x-2)]]
= [x(x-2)]/[(3x+1)(x-2)]]
= x/(3x+1)
