I got m is greater or equal to but my answer was 120, where as the book said 420 minutes

Note: 1 hr = 60 min

So if the "teacher requires that students devote no less than 1 hour a day to their homework assignments", this means that the number of minutes 'm' a student should spend per day is m%3E=60 (so they should do homework for 60 or more minutes)


Now since there are 7 days in a week, this means that you simply multiply 60 by 7 to get 60%2A7=420


So the inequality becomes m%3E=420 which means that students should spend at least 420 minutes a week doing Spanish homework.
