SOLUTION: How do I solve this problem.
8=3^7x-1
I am pretty sure you have to go log base3(8)=7x-1 but i dont know what to do from there. Please help! Thank you
x as u said is right
7x = log (base 3) 8 +1
x = 1/7(log(base 3) 2^3 +1)
=(1/7)( 3 log(base3) 2 +1)
as u know
log (base b) a= log a/logb
so if u know what log 3 and log 2 are(use a scientific calculator ) then u can simplify further
