You can put this solution on YOUR website!

y+=+%287%2F2%29%28x%29+%2B+%281%2F4%29
Multiply the whole eqn by 4:
y+=+%287%2F2%29%28x%29+%2B+%281%2F4%29 ----> times 4

4y=14x%2B1
highlight%28-14x%2B4y=1%29 ---------> standard line eqn using integers
Thank you,

How do you write this equation in standard form using integers:
y = 7%2F2x + 1%2F4
:
Multiply equation by 4 to get rid of the denominator
4(y) = 4*7%2F2x + 4*1%2F4
:
Cancel out the denominators, resulting in:
4y = 2(7)x + 1
:
4y = 14x + 1
:
Subtract 14x from both sides, resulting in the standard form
-14x + 4y = 1
