You can put this solution on YOUR website! we will call the small side x and the larger side x+3. Now using the pathaorean formula we know that lets multiply these terms out combining terms and putting everything on the left we have using the quadratic formula we get x=9 and -12...we throw out the negative value and are left with x which is the amall side of 9, and the large side is x+3, which equals 12
small side = 9
large side = 12
