Question 164349: Given functions f(x)=3x-4, g(x)=2x^2-7, h(x)=square root of x+5
Find (f o g)(x)=
Find (h o f)(x)=
Evaluate (g o f)(-2)=
I really need this tonight - I've been out and missed this in class. Thank you very much for taking the time to help. I believe I know how to do this but am not real confident of my answers and really need to do well on this quiz. I will be working on the other problems I do know how to do.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(f o g)(x)= 3(g(x))-4 = 3(2x^2-7)-4 = 6x^2-21-4 = 6x^2-25

(h o f)(x)= sqrt(f(x)+5) = sqrt(3x-4+5) = sqrt(3x+1)

(g o f)(-2)= 2(f(-2))^2-7 = 2(3(-2)-4)^2-7 = 2(-10)^2-7 = 193
