Solve for x:
(x – 2)/4 – 1/5 = (7x + 1)/20

Multiply by 20
5*(x-2) - 4 = 7x+1
5x-10 - 4 = 7x+1
5x-14 = 7x+1
-2x = 13
x = -13/2

Start by multiplying both sides by 20:
5(x – 2) – 4 = (7x + 1)
5x – 10 – 4 = 7x + 1
5x – 14 = 7x + 1
–14 = 2x + 1
