: 1. this has to do with complementary and supplementary angles word problem.
The supplement of an angle added to the complment of the angle gives 210 degrees. What is the measure of the angle?
2. the second question has to do with finding a perimeter
P=278
5x+1 length x width 5x+1 length and x for width. Im basically working with an upside down rectangle like a cylinder.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x be the measure of the angle.
Then the supplement of the angle is 180° - x.
The complement of the angle is 90° - x.
We can set up an equation using the following fact:
"The supplement of an angle added to the complment of the angle gives 210 degrees"
180° - x + 90° - x = 210°
Solving the equation for x, we have
270° -2x = 210°
-2x = -60°
x = 30°
So the measure of the angle is 30°
