[24/(x+5)]+[24/x]=11 __ multiplying by x(x+5) __ 24x+24x+120=11x^2+55x

0=11x^2+7x-120 __ factoring __ 0=(11x+40)(x-3)

0=11x+40 __ -40/11=x __ negative value not realistic

0=x-3 __ 3=x
