You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A = adults
C = children
A +C =350
2.25A= tickets for adults
1C = tickets for children
2.25A + C = 600
Now that we have our two equations, lets solve the first for one of the variables.
C=350-A
Now plug this into the other equation for C;
2.25A + (350-A)= 600
2.25A-A+350=600
1.25A=600-350
1.25A=250
A=250/1.25
A=200
Now that we have the Adults, plug that into the first equation;
A+C=350
200+c=350
C=350-200
C=150
