You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5/(x-7)<6
5/(x-7)-6<0 You must convert to "<0" form before you begin solving.
5/(x-7) - 6(x-7)/(x-7) <0 Use a common denominator.
(5-6x+42)/(x-7)<0
(-6x+47)/(x-7)<0
If -6x+47=0 then -6x=-47 and x=47/6=7.83333...
7.83333 is an inflection point.
x cannot be 7 because the denominator would be 0.
7 is the other inflection point.
When x<7 then 5/(x-7)-6<0
When 7%3Cx%3C7.83333 then 5/(x-7)-6>0
When x>7.83333 then 5/(x-7)-6<0
X(-infinity, 7]U[7.83333..., infinity) Answer.
