(x+4)(x+3+4)=180 the +4 in each term is the border measurement.
(x+4)(x+7)=180
x^2+11x+28-180=0
x^2+11x-152=0
(x-8)(x+19)=0
x-8=0
x=8 is the width of the photo.
8+3=11 is the length of the photo.
Proof:
(8+4)(11+4)=180
12*15=180
180=180
