You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6x + 6y =5
6x - 6y =3
Are they parallel, perpendicular or neither?
6x+6y=5
6y=-6x+5
y=-6x/6+5/6
y=-x+5/6 (red line)
6x-6y=3
-6y=-6x+3
y=-6x-6+3/-6
y=x-1/2 (green line).
Because the slopes (m) are negative recipricals then these 2 lines are perpendicular as shown by the following graph.
