You can put this solution on YOUR website! It is a hyperbola because there is a - term.
If the coefficients of x^2 amd y^2 terms were the same and positive it would be a circle.
If the coefficients of x^2 amd y^2 terms are unequal and positive it would be an ellise. A circle is a special type of ellipse.
