You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This problem can be solved by a 2x2 system of equations.
Let A to represent adults
S to represent students
then A + S = 29
9A + 6S = 210
solve it: multiply the first equation by 6:
we have 6A + 6S = 174
9A + 6S = 210
do subtraction(second one minus first one): 3A = 36
A = 12
so 12 adult tickets were sold.
