Putting into eqn with interest of $350:
0.08x%2B0.09%284000-x%29=350, EQN 1
0.08x%2B360-0.09x=350
360-350=0.09x-0.08x
10=0.01x -------> cross%2810%291000%2Fcross%280.01%29=cross%280.01%29x%2Fcross%280.01%29
x=1000, AMOUNT INVESTED @ 8%
4000-1000=3000, AMOUNT INVESTED @ 9%
