You can put this solution on YOUR website!

There's no better explanation than putting it into equation:
Let x= the number
%28-x%29=opposite the number
1%2F%28-x%29 = reciprocal of the opposite
Condition:
Opposite the number times the reciprocal of the opposite = 1:
%28-x%29%281%2F%28-x%29%29=1
%28cross%28-x%291%29%281%2Fcross%28-x%291%29=1
%28-1%29%28-1%29=1
1=1
