You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Call the price of the shoes A and B respectively.
1.B=A%2B5
2.A%2BB=230
Use eq. 1 in eq. 2 and solve for A.
2.A%2BB=230
A%2B%28A%2B5%29=230
2A%2B5=230
2A=225
A=112.5
From eq.1,
B=A%2B5
B=112.5%2B5=117.5
Pair A cost $112.50 and pair B costs $117.50.
