Don't know if you mean:
f(x) = 1/(2x)
or
f(x) = (1/2)x
.
I'll assume the later.

To find the inverse of a function:
f(x) = (1/2)x
y = (1/2)x
Solve for x:
2y = x
substitute x and y:
2x = y
.
therefore,
f^-1(x) = 2x
.
AND,
g(x) = 2x
