Question 159818: f(x)= x^2+6x-4 is the function
The questions are.
a.what is the vertex of the parabola?
b.what is domain and range?
c.find the interval over which the function is increasing?decreasing?
d.approximate the zeros of the function using the calculater?
for a. i got (3,13) is that right?
for b. i got domain(-inf,inf) range [13,inf)
for c. increasing [13,inf) decreasinf (-inf,13]
for d i dont know how to do
Please help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! a) vertex is (-3,-13)
b) Domain (-inf,inf) Range [-13,inf)
c) Increasing Interval: (-13,inf) Decreasing Interval: (-inf,-13)
d) Use a calculator (graphing calculator) and use the "root" or "zero" function to find the approximate roots of x=0.606 and x=-6.606
