Parallel lines have the same slope.
So you need to find the eqn of the line thru (2,5) parallel to 2x+y=3

Arrange the eqn into slope-intercept form, y = mx + b
2x+y = 3
y = -2x + 3
So the slope m is -2

Then use the slope intercept eqn thru the point (2,5)
y-y1 = m*(x-x1)
y-5 = -2*(x-2)
y-5 = -2x + 4
y = -2x + 9 slope-intercept form
2x + y = 9 standard form
