30-7z=10z-4 add 4 to both sides
30+%2B+4+-+7z+=+10z collect constant terms
+34+-7z+=+10z add 7z to both sides
+34+=+17z+ divide both sides by 17
+34%2F17+=+17z%2F17 simplify
+2+=+z
I did a lot of extra steps to help show what to do. Once you get the hang of it, you will be able to do the problem like this:
30-7z=10z-4
30-4+=+10z+%2B+7z
34+=+17z
2+=+z
