In any polynomial of even degree the product of the roots
is always the constant term divided by the coefficient of
the largest exponent of the variable. (For odd-degree
polynomials it's the same, but with the sign changed).

The constant term is 9 and the coefficient of the
largest exponent, x%5E2, is 1, so the product of the roots 
is 9%2F1 or 9
