: I think this is the right category...
this is really throwing me off:
2.7(z-7)+6=2.1(3z+1)
I'm not sure which step to take first in the order of operations: PEMDAS. Please help me! i need to get this done. This question is from textbook Geometry
You can put this solution on YOUR website! (z-7)+6=2.1(3z+1)
First you multiply.
z-7=6.2z+2.1
Now combine like terms.
z-6.2z=2.1+7
-5.2z=9.1
z=9.1/-5.2
z=-1.75 answer.
Proof:
-1.75-7=6.2*-1.75+2.1
-8.75=-10.85+2.1
-8.75=-8.75
