Find the perimeter of the 11 ft radius circle, then double it (for figure eight).
The perimeter of a circle is,

so the perimeter of the figure eight is,
P%5B8%5D=2%2AP%5Bc%5D
P%5B8%5D=4%2Api%2AR
In this case, R=11,
P%5B8%5D=4%2Api%2A11
P%5B8%5D=44%2Api
Using pi=3.14,
P%5B8%5D=138.16
The skater travels 138.16 feet once around the figure eight.
