assuming they all paint at the same rate, then each person paints 1/6 of the house in 11 hours.
if 2 people are painting the house, each person has to paint 3/6 of the house.
that means each person will have to paint 3 times as much which means it will take them 33 hours to paint the house assuming they are painting at the same rate as before.
