You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-3 = %284000%2F%28p-130%29%29%2A%28%28130%2Bp%29%2F16000%29
Deal with what's on the right side of the equation first
simplify; divide 4000 in to 16000, then mult numerators & denominators
%281%2F%28p-130%29%29%2A%28%28130%2Bp%29%2F4%29 = %28130%2Bp%29%2F%284%28p-130%29%29 = %28130%2Bp%29%2F%284p-520%29
:
Now we can write the equation as:
%28130%2Bp%29%2F%284p-520%29 = -3
;
Multiply both sides by (4p-520)
130+ p = -3(4p-520)
:
130 + p = -12p + 1560
:
p + 12p = 1560 - 130
:
13p = 1430
p = 1430%2F13
p = 110
