(5/2+4/x)/(1+3/(4x)) Find the common denominators (2x) & (4x).
[(5x+2*4)/2x]/[(4x+3)/4x] Invert the second term & multiply.
[(5x+8)/2x] multiply the numerators & denominators.
[4x(5x+8)]/[2x(4x+3)] Cancel out the (2x) terms.
2(5x+8)/(4x+3)
(10x+16)/(4x+3) answer.
