You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the number be =n
squareroot of the number = sqrt%28n%29
number devided by 40 = n/40
hence n/40 = sqrt%28n%29
n/sqrt%28n%29=40
sqrt%28n%29=40
n=40*40 = 1600

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the positive number be n.
sqrt%28n%29+=+n%2F40 Square both sides.
n+=+n%5E2%2F1600 Multiply both sides by 1600.
1600n+=+n%5E2 Divide both sides by n.
1600+=+n
The positive number is 1600.
Check:
sqrt%281600%29+=+1600%2F40
40+=+40
