Question 154817: Find the vertical asymptotes, if any, of the graph of the rational function.
f(x) = __x____ (x overx(x-2))
x(x- 2)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the vertical asymptotes, if any, of the graph of the rational function.
f(x) = x/[x(x-2)]
----------------------
Vertical asymptotes occur when a denominator is 0 and the numerator is not 0.
-----------------------
Your Problem:
x(x-2)=0
x = 0 or x = 2
-------------------
But when x = 0, the numerator is also 0 so no vertical asymptote at x = 0.
Only vertical asymptote is x=2
