You can put this solution on YOUR website!
An object is projected upward with an initial velocity of 251 feet per second from a height of 32 feet. During what time period will its height exceed 91 feet?
:
-16t^2 + 251t + 32 = 91
:
-16t^2 + 251t + 32 - 91 = 0
:
-16t^2 + 251t - 59 = 0
:
Using the quadratic formula;
the period will be between .24 sec and 15.45 sec it's height will be above 91 ft
