You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Evaluate the function at the given values of independent variable and simplify
g(x)=x^2 +2x +3
for g(-1) = (-1)^2 + 2(-1) + 3 = 1 -2 +3 = 2
----------------------
g(x+5) = (x+5)^2 + 2(x+5) + 3 = x^2+10x+25 + 2x+5 + 3 = x^2 + 12x + 33
