x /(x-3) = (x+1) / (x-4)
x-x-3 = x-x+1+4
-3 = 5 Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solve for x: Multiply both sides by both (x-3) and (x-4) Now expand both sides of the equation. Now subtract from both sides. Add 4x to both sides. Add 3 to both sdes. Finally, divide both sides by 2.
