You can put this solution on YOUR website! x^2-10x+24
Since the original polynomials signs in order are - and +, then you should set up factoring like this:

(x-?)(x-!)--------------because -? and -! multiplied by each other would cancel out the negatives (and get 24), but when added together, the sum would still be negative (-10).

Then come up with the factors of 24 that add up to 10. Those would be 6 and 4. Plug those in for ? and !:

 (x-6)(x-4)

That's all there is to it!
 Answer: (x-6)(x-4)
