You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=5x and 2x%2By=28:

You have y as 5x in the first equation, so substitute 5x for y in the second equation:
2x%2B%285x%29=28

Combine like terms
7x=28

Divide both sides by 7
x=4

Now you know that y is 5x, so to find out y, plug in 4 for x.
y=5%284%29

Simplify
y=20

Answer:
x=4
y=20
(4,20)
