You can put this solution on YOUR website!
can you please help me solve and check using the substitution method.
system%283x%2By=5%2C+-2x%2B3y=4%29

Solve the first for y

3x%2By=5
y=5-3x

Substitute %285-3x%29 for y in the second equation

-2x%2B3%2Ay=4
-2x%2B3%285-3x%29=4
-2x%2B15-9x=4
-11x=-11
x=1

Now substitute %281%29 forx in y=5-3x

y=5-3x
y=5-3%281%29
y=5-3
y=2

So the solution is (x,y) = (1,2)
