You want to use the FOIL method. Multiply 6x by 2x and then 6 getting 12x^2+36x, and then multiply 7 by the 2x, then 6, and you get 14x+42, put it together and you get 12x^2+36x+14x+42. Collect like terms and the answer is 12x^2+50x+42.
